Washington Business Week places students in a dynamic simulation where they emulate industry professionals, launch a company, sharpen their communication skills, and solve real-world challenges.  Students spend a week on a college campus where they receive mentoring from business professionals and network with industry leaders from around the state.  They can earn two college credits with the potential to earn scholarships and so much more.  Visit www.wbw.org/students/register to sign up or see Ms. Hawley with your questions.

Attention girls who will be entering grades 4-12 next school year! Gorilla Volleyball is putting on a 2-day volleyball skills camp on Thursday June 15th 10:30am-12:30pm, and Friday, June 16th 7:00am-9:00am in the Davenport High School Gym! This is a great opportunity to learn about the sport of volleyball and hone your skills. Participants will receive instruction and tips from former college volleyball coaches! If you are interested in attending, registration forms are available in the high school, middle school, and elementary school office, cost is only $10 and includes a Gorilla Volleyball prize! Forms and money are due at the beginning of camp on June 15th. If you have questions please contact Noelle Carstens, Head Volleyball Coach ncarstens@davenportsd.org or 509-725-4021.


DHS FBLA is for Hire! Need an odd job done? Call us! We can do: yard work, window/car washing, organizing/cleaning, pet-walking, and other. Our services are donation only, but please consider time and effort involved.  If you are interested, please contact Miss Carstens the FBLA Advisor at 509-725-4021 to schedule a job!


Fall Driver’s Ed Class starts Aug. 30, 2017. Please stop by or call the office (725-4021) to put yourself on the list for the Fall class. The total cost for the class is $400. You need to have a down payment of $100 in order to start the class.  We will not be accepting payment until the start of the 2017-18 school year. Students 15-1/2 to 16 years of age will be given priority over younger classmates.
