Medical Career Day at Lincoln Hospital
Who: All FBLA Members
Where: Davenport High School (NOTE LOCATION CHANGE).
When: Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 @ 12:45-2:15 pm.
Why: To learn about the medical and business related career opportunities at Lincoln Hospital. We will job shadow the following departments: Pharmacy, Nursing, Imaging, Lab, Occupational Therapy/Recreational Therapy/Physical Therapy, Physicians Assistant, EMS, and Billing/HR/Administration.
Attention Juniors! We have a brand new SAT testing opportunity with
SAT SCHOOL DAY! We will be holding an SAT testing opportunity on Tuesday, April 24th right here at DHS! Sign up with Ms. Hawley by MARCH 1ST by signing the roster on her door. This is a GREAT opportunity to take this college entrance exam with a home court advantage. The cost is $46 without essay, $60 with essay, with fee waivers available for qualifying students.
Softball, Baseball, Tennis and Track sign-ups are at the office. If you are planning to do one of these spring sports…get your name on the sign-up list ASAP!!
Spring Traffic Safety Classes will begin Wednesday, February 28th from 6-8 pm in the HS Computer Lab (Rm. 16), and the last class will be Wednesday, May 2nd. If you are interested in taking the Traffic Safety class the cost is $400. You can make payments; however, you MUST have a $100 registration deposit (non-refundable) in order to start the class and you must pay off the total cost ($400) in order to receive a “complete” in the Traffic Safety Class. Students who are 15-years-old and above are welcome to sign-up for Traffic Safety class. Students who are 15-1/2 will be given priority. Registration packets are available at the HS office.
