DHS Students: College Week is next week! There will be several activities throughout the week including: College Trivia, College Application, FASFA, Scholarship Help Sessions, Apply & Get Pie Event, a College Dress-up Day, and a College Panel Event! Be sure to check the bulletin Monday for specific details of the activities planned for each day!
December 18: Apprenticeship guest speaker. There will be a guest speaker from the NW Laborers Union coming at 11:00am in the auditorium to discuss apprenticeships and opportunities after high school. If you are interested, see Mr. Powell.

UGLY SWEATER CONTEST!! Staff and students this is your chance to wear that UGLY sweater you’ve had in your closet just waiting to debut!! Wear your sweater December 18th!! There will be a prize for both the staff member and student that has the UGLIEST SWEATER!! Staff will be voting on students/students will vote on staff.
CLASS COMPETITION!!! Megan H. is collecting toiletry items to donate to Care-And-Share as her senior project!!! Items to donate are: toothpaste, soap bars, deodorant, toothbrushes, shampoo/conditioner, etc. These items can be dropped off in the baskets available in your advisors classroom (Fr.—Mrs. Ward; S—Mr. Henry; Jr.—Mrs. Parsons; Sr.—Mrs. VP). The class that donates THE MOST ITEMS will win a popsicle party at the end of the collection term. Megan will be collecting items Nov. 27th – Jan. 27th. This is a wonderful senior project…so let’s all start donating items.
REMINDER: If you have NOT paid your NHS you need to do so IMMEDIATELY!! Dues are $10…get those turned into the HS office!!
Attention Seniors! If you are planning on attending SFCC or SCC next year, or if it's even a possibility, you should be applying for the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation Scholarships! Visit ccsfoundation.org/scholarshipsto complete one application for numerous opportunities - due January 11.
